This two-story 2 bedroom NYC apartment was refreshed with a dose of light and airy contemporary style with a touch of midcentury modern flare.  The original dark wood blinds in all of the spaces were replaced with a combination of sheer ripplefold drapes and roman shades.  The result is a sophisticated yet inviting and functional home.
